We kindly ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or amend your reservation. This helps us manage the kitchen and ensure other guests can take your table.
Reservations for larger groups (6 or more) may require a card to secure the booking. In these cases, a no-show or cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a charge.
During busy service periods, we may need to allocate a table for a set duration. If this applies to your booking, we will make this clear at the time of reservation and our team will always do their best to ensure you are not rushed.
We are always happy to accommodate guests who simply want to linger — please let us know your plans and we will do our best to accommodate.
Celebrating a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion? Let us know when you book and we will do our best to acknowledge it. We are happy to arrange a cake if given advance notice — please contact us directly to discuss.

Aamcha warmly welcomes families and children. We offer a range of milder dishes suitable for younger diners, and our team will always be happy to advise on options. High chairs are available — please request at the time of booking.
There is no formal dress code at Aamcha. We are a modern, relaxed restaurant that welcomes guests as they are. Smart casual is the spirit of the room — but we will never turn anyone away on the basis of what they are wearing.
We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do not accept cash. Contactless payment is available at all times.
A discretionary service charge of 10% is added to your bill. Full details are explained in our service charge section below.
Transparency
A discretionary service charge of 10% is added to all bills at Aamcha Eastern Kitchen. This charge is entirely discretionary — you are under no obligation to pay it, and it will be removed from your bill without question if you ask.
When paid, 100% of the service charge is distributed directly to the front-of-house and kitchen team who served you. It does not contribute to business revenue or overheads.
We believe in being completely transparent about this. If you have any questions about how service charge is handled, please ask any member of our team — they will be happy to explain.

Aamcha Eastern Kitchen is located at 70e Watling Street, Radlett, Hertfordshire WD7 7NP — on the main high street, easily accessible by car, rail and on foot.
Radlett railway station is a 5-minute walk from the restaurant. Direct services run from St Pancras International and London Blackfriars, with journey times of approximately 25–30 minutes from central London.
Radlett is easily reached via the A5 (Watling Street) or the M25 (Junction 22). From central London, the drive takes approximately 25–35 minutes depending on traffic.

Reservations made through our online booking system or by telephone are subject to availability. A reservation confirms a table at the requested time but does not guarantee a specific location within the restaurant. We will always do our best to honour seating preferences where noted.
We hold reserved tables for 15 minutes past the booking time. If you expect to be late, please contact us as soon as possible on +44 1923 351 441. Tables may be released to waiting guests after this time.
Reservations for groups of 7 or more must be made by telephone or email. These bookings may require a card to secure the reservation.
We ask that all cancellations or amendments are made with as much advance notice as possible. For standard reservations, we kindly request 24 hours’ notice where possible.
For group bookings of 6 or more guests where a card has been provided to secure the reservation, a no-show or cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a charge per head. The specific charge will be communicated clearly at the time of booking and included in the booking confirmation.
For private hire and catering events, separate cancellation terms apply as detailed in the individual hire or catering contract. Please refer to the relevant agreement for full details.
Aamcha Eastern Kitchen reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any guest at the management’s discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, guests who are behaving in a disruptive, abusive or inappropriate manner towards staff or other guests.
We operate a Challenge 25 policy. Any guest who appears to be under 25 may be asked to provide valid photographic identification confirming they are over 18 before being served alcohol.
We take food allergies and intolerances seriously. Our menu lists primary ingredients, but cannot guarantee the absence of all allergens due to the nature of our kitchen environment. If you have a serious allergy, please inform us before ordering and we will provide a full ingredient breakdown and advise on safe menu choices.
While we accommodate dietary requirements to the best of our ability, we cannot guarantee that dishes are entirely free from trace allergens. Guests with severe allergies should inform staff on arrival and before each course.
A discretionary service charge of 10% is added to all bills. This charge is entirely voluntary — it will be removed from your bill without question if requested. When paid, the full amount is distributed to the team who served you. It does not contribute to business revenue.
Private hire and external catering engagements are governed by a separate hire or catering contract issued at the time of booking confirmation. The terms set out in that contract take precedence over the general terms on this page in relation to the specific event.
A deposit is required to confirm all private hire bookings. Deposit amounts and payment schedules are set out in the individual contract. Deposits are non-refundable except where Aamcha Eastern Kitchen is unable to fulfil the booking due to circumstances within its control.
Aamcha Eastern Kitchen accepts no liability for personal property left on the premises. Guests are responsible for their own belongings at all times. Lost property should be reported to a member of staff promptly; we will retain found items for 30 days.
Our liability in relation to any dining or event experience is limited to the value of the booking or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss of any kind.
If you experience any issue during your visit, we ask that you raise it with a member of staff at the time so we can address it immediately. We take all feedback seriously and would rather resolve a concern in the moment than hear about it after the fact.
